| We are a pet friendly Hotel and allow all sorts of pets. We mainly get dogs. There are several good forestry walks around Oban that are most suitable for the longer walk. For short, less energetic, walks and when the tide is out, there is the beach to the front of the hotel. To the back of the Hotel's rear car park, there is the entrance to Dunollie woods. Again an easy short walk. In March 2011 the section of the cycle track through the woods was finished. It gives a lovely surface on which to walk. The cycle path will eventually connect with the cycle path at Ganavan Sands which then takes you to the village of Dunbeg and to Dunstaffnage Castle.. As well as your room, dogs are allowed into all public rooms in the hotel with the exception of the dining room. At present we have two dogs here in the hotel. Yoshi a Japanese Akita, Tara a Springer Spaniel and also the hotel cat - Salem. If you bring your dog, ask at the reception about the many walks around Oban.
